About
Formed in 1994, the MedEquip Loan Closet has served thousands of individuals by providing quality medical equipment on loan (for free) for up to six months.
We are proud and deeply encouraged by the support of referring agencies and the many donations (money and quality medical equipment) from the public.
LOCATION
We are located at the Reformed Church at 70 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Please use the Hanscom Avenue entrance, which is located behind the church property (if you are able).
Inventory

Donations
Donations are deeply appreciated, impact lives, and are tax-deductible. We accept equipment donations onsite.
Our inventory includes:

Commodes and raised toilet seats

Shower seats, chairs, and benches

Bath and toilet rails

Walkers (with or without wheels)

Canes (quad or standard)

Crutches

Rollators
-
Winney walkers

Wheelchairs and Transport Chairs

Hoyer lifts (manual)
We do not have hospital beds or other large items like lift chairs on our premises. However, we network between those who want to donate and those who would like to receive.
