Our church is blessed with a rich musical heritage. Sacred music from great classical and contemporary composers is brought to life through the voices of our Chancel Choir and the work of our organists and choir masters. We are also proud sponsors of the Tower Music Series, as well as the home for Camerata Chorale.
The Chancel Choir provides a musical setting which expresses our praise and encourages our devotion to the Lord in worship. The choir sings music from a broad range of periods and styles, classical to contemporary. Our Choir is always ready willing to accept new members to join it.
Feel free to listen to this sample recording of the Chancel Choir, performing A Choral Prayer by Van Denman Thompson "a cappella" from March 2019.
The Davis Organ
The John A. Davis, Jr. Organ is a contemporary, eclectic American pipe organ built by Schantz of Ohio which was installed in October 2003. It has already established itself as one of the finest organs in the Hudson Valley. The 45 ranks of pipes -- 2,652 total -- provide a superb variety of sound, greatly enhancing worship, from hushed tones of reverence and awe to majestic peals of praise and exaltation. Follow this link for the organ specifications.
Feel free to listen to this recording of George Tilley, performing Toccata from Suite Gothique by Léon Boëllmann on the Davis Organ.
Tower Music Series
The Tower Music Series is a musical program founded to make the musical arts more accessible to members of our community by presenting a variety of quality musical programs in a friendly setting at an affordable price. Mindful of the need to give back to our community, the program places an emphasis on presenting local musicians in our concerts, although we do occasionally present noted musicians from outside the Hudson Valley.
